In my opinion, the best cars ever produced was Mercedes Benz's W123 series. A unique, classic look combined with unequaled engineering to make the driver feel like a king. It was way ahead of its time and by far the most popular of all of MB's lines. They are known to log literally over a million miles and still keep going. Truly "engineered like no other car in the world."
ngayon ko lang nakita site mo Pstr Michael.i totally agree, untill now you can still compare the ride of the new benz sa 123 body:) updated ang suspension. browse ka sa youtube about the 123's you'll be amazed sa safety nya and even find the super restored and well kept 123 bodies ng mb. let's look forward na masulit natin ang kotse natin na worth restoring and using:)
Hey brow. I guess that's like the Nikon vs. Canon debate. From what I've gathered, people who favor the BMW like it for its sporty looks. But it is generally agreed that Benz has the edge in engineering. Plus, when Shaq differentiated himself from Kobe, he called Kobe a BMW sportscar and himself as a Benz. You know of course who Shaq means is better.
Bro, I guess this is the updated and upgraded version of your VW Passat stationwagon in Russia. Looks cool! I agree with you with regards to MB vs BMW....I once heard that you don't see as many 20 year old BMWs around unlike MBs!

True, true. Funny thing is, this Benz is even older than my 1987 VW Passat. Something about those German engineers though, they really know how to build cars, especially wagons. I really feel like a king when I drive the Benz even though it's 24 years old. We were both in 2nd year HS when my Benz rolled out. There are still a few Benz wagons of the same era running around Manila and they all look to be in good shape.
I have two a 1979 240D with 700,000 miles on it. It's taught 3 kids how to drive. It has been to two colleges and it's still ticking. The other a 1983 300TD wagon with 300,000 miles on it. I wouldn't own another car

Wow! Another testament to W123's durability. I recently read a write up about it which said that in a time when car quality was unpredictable, the W123 series stood out like an oak. That decades and hundreds of thousands of miles later, it still drives like it did the day it came out of the factory.
